LEED for Homes – LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
Passive House – The Passive House concept represents today’s highest energy standard with the promise of slashing the heating energy consumption of buildings by an amazing 90%.
Built Green Washington – A cooperative of Washington’s regional green home building programs.
Built Green of King and Snohomish Counties – A non-profit, residential building program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.
Northwest Energy Star – A program encouraging the construction of homes to ENERGY STAR standards specifically designed for the Northwest.
NAHB Green Building Program– Sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders.
Built Smart Program
– Provides financial incentives and technical information for the design and build of multifamily projects in Seattle which conserve resources and provide for a healthy, comfortable living environment.
